I had the prime rib and my celiac wife had the salmon, baked potato and a salad, they did a great job ensuring her meal was gluten free and prepared in a gluten free, clean area. She had a salad with Italian dressing, then grilled salmon with a baked potato. I had prime rib dinner with a loaded potato and their home made cake for dessert... The prime rib was good but could have been warmer, the cake was also good but a bit dry, it could have been more moist so I would say it was just okay. The other salmon dinner had scallops and loaded potato, it was very good, the third salmon dinner came with broccoli and it was very good as well. The meal cost more in our case due to the wine we bought. Note: you are allowed to bring your own wine.... There is a 3:00 corking fee.

We were at party of 6, had reservations for 630pm and were promptly seated. We ordered a wide variety of food Lobster Bisque, Calamari, Filet to a full seafood platter some fried and some broiled, all cooked to order and had a fabulous flavor. We ended the night with some shared deserts Pecan Pie, Homemade Apple Crisp, and White Chocolate Cheesecake absolutely delicious!! Servers were very pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant, we will definitely be back..

We decided to come here after we were turned away by Santee Steak & Seafood and we were very happy with the choice. The clam chowder was wonderful, the table had everything from fried seafood to blackened, shrimp and grits and shrimp Alfredo over grits. We will definitely be back!

I stopped by Captain’s Quarters Seafood and Steak while passing through Santee on a road trip along I-95. I was craving seafood, and with plenty of other restaurant options in the area, the pineapple teriyaki salmon on their menu immediately caught my eye, and I’m so glad it did! The dish did not disappoint. The salmon was cooked perfectly, with a flavorful glaze that balanced sweet and savory. The classic Southern charm of the restaurant added to the experience, and what really made it memorable was the owner personally stopping by each table to check in. His presence and hospitality added a personal touch that truly elevated the entire experience. If you’re in the area and looking for a satisfying seafood meal with a Southern touch, I highly recommend giving Captain’s Quarters a try!

Excellent food! We went back and forth because prices were a little higher, but it was totally worth it! Large portions of fish. Excellent meal!

The Captain’s Quarters came through for me as there wasn’t many local options to choose from. I ordered take out and walked across the street from my hotel to pick it up. My food was ready on time, hot and as I ordered. The staff was friendly when I picked up my pork chops, sweet potato and salad.

Great Frog Legs appetizer... The fish was so delicious. This place is a gem. What a total surprise to get off the highway and have broiled flounder and tilapia cooked to perfection. The fried flounder was lightly friend perfect.... Great service fresh food and from the outside you would never expect it!!@!

Our second dining experience here for dinner after a days drive during vacation travel. We enjoyed our meals very much my wife had the fried oysters and I the shrimp n grits. She had looked forward to returning year to year and we will be back the next time in the region.
